Job summary

Campbelltown Arts Centre, part of Campbelltown City Council, invites applications for a Visitor Experience role. You will welcome customers face-to-face and via phone in a busy environment and assist with inquiries, bookings and event setups.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication and the ability to work flexibly, including weekend hours, within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or substantial professional experience in visitor services, customer services, marketing or a related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
• Available to work flexible and extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in person and over the phone in a high-volume environment.
• Manage day-to-day operation of the front desk including direct customer service and enquiries.
• Assist with setting up for functions and events.
