Job summary

Campbelltown City Council invites applications for multiple casual Customer Service Officer positions across all Leisure Centres and Billabong Parklands. Earn $38.22–$41.38 per hour plus 25% casual loading, 12% superannuation and penalties for weekends/ public holidays where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing customer service in a high volume fast paced multifunctional environment (Leisure or recreational facilities preferred)
• Experience in a face-to-face and phone-based customer service role
• A strong understanding of the principles of excellent customer service
• Experience in cashiering and internal audit requirements
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
• A current Resuscitation Certificate and First Aid Certificate
• Willingness to work a roster with early start and late finish shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A current Working With Children Check for paid work.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers; manage the day-to-day operation of the front desk including direct customer service, telephone and electronic enquiries, admissions, cash handling and member care.
• Provide a great customer experience, face to face and over the phone in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Support members with inquiries and help maintain welcoming surroundings at Leisure Centres.

About the role:

To thrive in this role, you are someone who finds it easy to build and maintain positive relationships with all the people you meet. You are able provide a great customer experience, face to face and over the phone in a high volume fast paced multifunctional environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

Experience in cashiering and internal audit requirements
