Job summary

Gordon Vet Hospital in Sydney's North Shore is seeking an empathetic, motivated receptionist to join our busy reception team. The role is 38 hours per week, with a rotating weekend roster, focusing on welcoming clients and their pets and maintaining warm, professional relationships.

You will manage appointments, calls, emails and payments, support clinical workflow, and liaise with the veterinary and nursing team to deliver high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Works effectively in a team environment.
• Be able to work well under pressure and juggle multiple clients and phone calls.
• Possess excellent customer service skills and a willingness to further them.
• Possess exceptional communication skill and attention to detail, both written and verbal.
• Has strong time management and organisational skills.
• Have a caring and empathetic nature with the capacity to deal with all types of clients and situations.
• Previous experience within the animal care industry is preferred but not essential.
