Job summary

Convergence International is seeking committed trauma management specialists to support NSW Police Force clients. The role combines assessment and onsite or phone-based response work for critical incidents and potentially traumatic events.

We welcome registered Psychologists and Social Workers to join our flexible contractor/employee team, delivering evidence-based interventions and client-centred care across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in psychosocial interventions, support and counselling.
• Minimum 3 years trauma management or consultancy experience.
• Ability to assess workplace issues and advise on interventions.
• Passion for helping people and flexible, fast-paced work style.
• Strong report writing and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Critical Incident Response Services during incidents or organisational change.
• Deliver trauma-focused counselling using PFA and other approaches.
• Assess workplace issues and recommend improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and travel to client sites as needed.
• Inform organisations of themes and internal process improvements.
