Job summary

EVT HQ is seeking a Transformation Business Analyst to lead LEAN improvement projects across operations and support teams in Sydney. You will map current and future processes, identify automation opportunities, and partner with data engineers to validate feasibility.

Demonstrable experience with LEAN, value stream mapping, FMEA, and stakeholder management is required. The role emphasises measurable efficiency gains and risk reduction in a fixed-term capacity.

Qualifications

• Experience applying LEAN principles in an operational environment.
• Proven skill in process and value stream mapping, including workshops.
• Practical experience running FMEA and acting on results.
• Strong analytical skills converting data to clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead LEAN improvement projects from diagnosis to implementation and benefits tracking.
• Identify waste, bottlenecks and variation; propose practical solutions.
• Embed standard work to ensure improvements are repeatable.
• Identify automation/AI opportunities and collaborate with Data Engineering.
• Create current-state and future-state process maps (SIPOC, swimlanes).
• Develop value stream maps showing value-adding activities and handoffs.
• Use data and time studies to quantify opportunities.
• Run FMEA to identify risks and track corrective actions with owners.
• Support audit programmes by pinpointing recurring failures and root causes.
• Engage stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leaders.
• Report on project progress and benefits delivered.
