Job summary

EVT HQ in Sydney is seeking a Transformation Business Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will lead LEAN improvements, map current and future states, and collaborate with Data Engineering to identify automation opportunities.

You will quantify opportunities using data, run FMEA, and drive standard work while engaging stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leaders to deliver measurable benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience applying LEAN principles in an operational environment.
• Proven skill in process mapping and value stream mapping, including facilitating workshops
• Practical experience running FMEA and acting on the results

Responsibilities

• Leading LEAN improvement projects from diagnosis through to implementation and benefits tracking
• Identify waste, bottlenecks and variation in processes and recommend practical solutions
• Embed standard work to ensure improvements stick and can be repeated
• Identify automation or AI opportunities and assess feasibility with Data Engineering
• Create and maintain current-state and future-state process maps (SIPOC and swimlanes)
• Develop value stream maps showing value-adding vs non-value-adding activities and lead times
• Use data and time studies to quantify opportunities
• Run FMEA to identify risks and track corrective actions with owners
• Support standards and audit programs by identifying root causes and recurring failures
• Engage and influence stakeholders from frontline to senior leaders
• Report on project progress and benefits delivered
