Job summary

EVT HQ is seeking a Transformation Business Analyst to simplify and standardise operations across its functions in Sydney, Australia. You will identify waste, reduce risk, and drive improvements using LEAN, process mapping and value stream tools, while collaborating with the Data Engineering team on automation and AI opportunities.

You will map current and future states, lead workshops, quantify improvements with data, and track benefits and risks through FMEA and ongoing governance.

Qualifications

• Experience applying LEAN principles in an operational setting.
• Proven ability to map processes and value streams, and to facilitate workshops.
• Hands-on experience running FMEA and acting on findings.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading LEAN improvement projects from diagnosis through to implementation and benefits tracking.
• Identify waste, bottlenecks and variation; propose practical solutions.
• Embed standard work to ensure improvements stick and repeatability.
• Identify processes suitable for automation or AI and assess feasibility with Data Engineering.
• Create and maintain current-state and future-state process maps (SIPOC, swimlane).
• Develop value stream maps showing value-adding vs non-value-adding activities and lead times.
• Use data, observation and time studies to quantify opportunities.
• Run FMEA to identify risk and track corrective actions with process owners.
• Support standards and audits by identifying recurring failures and root causes.
• Engage and influence stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leaders.
• Report on project progress and benefits delivered.
