Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a Transformation Business Analyst at EVT HQ in Sydney for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will lead LEAN improvement projects, map current and future processes, and identify automation opportunities with the Data Engineering team.

You’ll embed standard work, quantify benefits, and report on progress to senior leaders. The ideal candidate has hands-on LEAN experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent stakeholder management across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Experience applying LEAN in an operational environment.
• Proven ability in process and value stream mapping, plus workshop facilitation.
• Experience with FMEA and taking actions from results.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead LEAN improvement projects from diagnosis to benefits tracking.
• Identify waste, bottlenecks, and variation and propose solutions.
• Embed standard work to ensure repeatable improvements.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to assess automation/AI feasibility.
• Create current-state and future-state process maps (SIPOC and swimlanes).
• Develop value stream maps showing value-added vs non-value-added activities.
• Use data and time studies to quantify opportunities.
• Run FMEA to identify risks and track corrective actions.
• Support audit programs by identifying recurring failures and root causes.
• Engage stakeholders from frontline to senior leaders and report progress.
