Job summary

EVT HQ in Sydney is seeking a Transformation Business Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will lead LEAN improvement projects, map current and future processes, and collaborate with our Data Engineering team to identify automation opportunities that genuinely improve operations.

You will embed standard work, use time studies to quantify opportunities and run FMEA to manage risks. You will engage stakeholders from frontline staff to senior leaders and report progress and benefits

Qualifications

• LEAN principles experience in an operational environment
• Process mapping and value stream mapping including workshops
• Experience running FMEA and acting on results
• Strong analytical skills turning data into recommendations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead LEAN improvement projects from diagnosis through implementation and benefits tracking
• Identify waste, bottlenecks and variation and recommend practical solutions
• Embed standard work so improvements stick and can be repeated
• Identify automation or AI opportunities and work with Data Engineering on feasibility
• Create current-state and future-state process maps (SIPOC and swimlanes)
• Develop value stream maps showing value-adding vs non-value-adding activities
• Use data and time studies to quantify opportunities
• Run FMEA to identify risks and track corrective actions
• Support audit programs by identifying recurring failures and root causes
• Engage stakeholders from frontline to senior leaders and report progress and benefits
