Job summary

Ranchero seeks a Transformation Business Analyst for EVT HQ in Sydney to drive operational improvement using LEAN, process mapping and FMEA. You will map current and future states, identify waste and opportunities for automation with the Data Engineering team, and lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver measurable benefits.

You will engage stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leaders, report progress and embed standard work to sustain gains.

Qualifications

• Experience applying LEAN principles in an operational environment.
• Proven ability to map processes and value streams, and run workshops.
• Hands-on FMEA experience and implementing actions.
• Strong analytical skills translating data into recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead LEAN improvement projects from diagnosis through benefits tracking.
• Identify waste, bottlenecks and variation and propose practical solutions.
• Embed standard work to ensure improvements stick.
• Assess automation or AI opportunities with Data Engineering.
• Create current/future state maps (SIPOC, swimlanes) and value streams.
• Quantify opportunities using data, observations and times studies.
• Run FMEA to prioritise risk and track corrective actions with owners.
• Support standards and audit programs by identifying root causes.
• Engage stakeholders from frontline to senior leaders and report progress.
