They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual who is eager to learn, develop their skills and begin a long-term career in strata management. This is a full-time position, based in Maitland, with full training provided through a traineeship and structured training program, typically completed over 18 to 24 months. You will be supported to complete the Certificate IV in Strata and Community Management and progress towards a Class 2 Agent Licence in Strata Management when eligible.
Working alongside experienced and licensed Strata Managers, you will assist with the day-to-day management of a portfolio of strata schemes while developing the practical knowledge and skills needed to manage a portfolio independently.
Your role
- Assist with maintaining a portfolio of strata schemes and preparing property management documentation.
- Respond to written and verbal communications on behalf of clients.
- Support the preparation of administration and Capital Works Fund budgets, reconciled accounts, balance sheets, income and expenditure statements, and levy status reports.
- Assist with reviewing monthly and annual accounts and operating within allocated Owners Corporation budgets.
- Help organise and chair Strata Committee and Owners Corporation meetings, including preparing the required documentation.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance and common property matters in line with legislation and Strata Committee instructions, with a focus on competitive pricing and quality service.
- Liaise with Building Managers, local councils, consultants and internal specialists regarding fire safety, work health and safety, building maintenance, structural rectification and legal matters.
- As it is a legal requirement to hold a Certificate of Registration in Strata Management for this role, your duties will be primarily focused on administrative support until you obtain your Certificate of Registration. Once obtained, you will commence working towards the qualifications required for a Class 2 Strata Managing Agent Licence.

To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administration, office support, or customer service role.
- Intermediate computer skills across Microsoft Office systems.
