Job summary

Abbott is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to manage a defined territory in Australia, driving growth in molecular diagnostics. You will identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals while meeting financial targets.

Strong communication and scientific aptitude are essential to translate complex solutions to diverse customers. In this role, you will own the CRM, forecast accurately, and collaborate with Country Manager, Ambassadors, Technical Services, Logistics, and Support teams

Qualifications

3–5+ years of successful sales experience in clinical diagnostics or research labs.
Strong track record in complex, multisite sales cycles and building relationships.
Ability to simplify and deliver complex technical information to diverse customer groups.
Understanding of laboratory workflows; diagnostics experience desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic influencing capabilities.

Responsibilities

Drive territory growth and achieve financial targets.
Identify, develop, and close opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
Own the CRM, ensure meticulous updates, accurate forecasting, and CRM KPIs.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities in molecular diagnostics.
Strengthen key customer relationships and position Abbott solutions effectively.
Lead tender and proposal efforts, coordinating technical and commercial responses.
Represent the company with the highest ethics and compliance standards.
