Job summary

Abbott Australia is seeking a sales-focused professional for the Electrophysiology (EP) business. This role maximises sales volume and market share within an assigned territory, by building strong relationships with customers and delivering high-quality clinical service and support.

You will undergo in-house training to achieve EP and 3D mapping certifications, participate in launches, and contribute to territory planning and customer insights.

Qualifications

• Ability to convincingly discuss product range with customers, as well as internal and external experts
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills
• Good technical / clinical/ scientific knowledge
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• To achieve EP certification by undertaking and completing a thorough in-house training program to allow you to attend and support EP sessions independently
• To achieve 3D mapping certification by undertaking and completing a thorough in-house training program to allow you to support 3D mapping cases independently
• Achieve sales targets and increase market share for your assigned territory through building strong relationships and providing high quality clinical service and support
• Develop strong relationships with key customers that will assist in growing your business and market share to achieve sales targets
• Develop relationships with and service key customer groups, identify and utilise key customer networks
• Actively implement and execute on sales force effectiveness initiatives to help drive business growth and sales skills development including strategic territory and account planning, customer profiles and sales training
• Utilise available sales analysis tools to assist in territory planning
• Utilise internal resources to assist servicing customers within your territory
• Manage allocated consignment stock
• Maintain accurate customer profiles
• Maintain up to date product knowledge and actively participate in education programs
• Assist with product marketing and launches
• Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity
• Attend to/comply with customer service and other administrative requirements within the required timeframe
