Job summary

Roberts Designs International in Melbourne’s region seeks a Territory Manager for Northern VIC to manage an established customer base and drive growth. This role is road-heavy, with autonomy and strong support from the team and leadership, including national backing.

You will handle wholesale, retail trade and hardware accounts, planning visits, presenting products, and pursuing new business across a broad territory. 70% focus on core area with travel within Victoria.

Qualifications

• Previous B2B sales experience in trade/building materials or related industry.
• Strong relationship-building skills and approachable communication.
• Self-motivated, autonomous and reliable.
• Experience managing existing customers while identifying new business.
• Organised, with ability to plan visits and follow-ups.
• Commercial mindset with negotiation and closing skills.
• Able to learn technical product information and present to customers.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and maintaining sales records.
• Team-oriented with willingness to work toward shared goals.
• Valid driver's licence and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established portfolio of trade and retail customers across Northern VIC.
• Plan call cycles and conduct regular customer visits.
• Present new products, promotions and samples.
• Build relationships with store managers, trade customers and key decision makers.
• Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities.
• Provide product advice and demonstrations across silicones, tiling trims, tools and accessories.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing and follow up opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and visit notes using the CRM.
• Manage your own weekly schedule while collaborating with the broader team.
