Job summary

Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited is seeking a sales professional based in Mildura to own the territory across regional Victoria. You’ll manage the full sales cycle, build relationships, and win new business while understanding customer projects to deliver value across the sales cycle.

The role involves travel across regional Victoria with reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. A strong drive to win, CRM discipline and the ability to operate autonomously in a field-based role are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years’ experience in sales, account management or business development.
• Understanding of sales cycles, customer buying behaviours and how to influence outcomes.
• Proactive, commercial mindset with a strong drive to win new business and grow accounts.
• Confidence engaging customers, uncovering needs and closing opportunities.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and operate within a structured sales rhythm and territory plan.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing and account growth.
• Build relationships while growing accounts and winning new business.
• Understand customer projects to position solutions that drive value.
• Maintain a strong sales cadence including planning your week, managing call cycles and maintaining customer engagement.
• Manage pipeline, CRM, forecasting and activity discipline.
• Collaborate internally to deliver on commitments and close opportunities.
• Track performance and adjust your approach to hit targets.
