Terranova Seeds is a specialist vegetable seeds company with a strong market presence across Australia and New Zealand. The National Sales Manager role combines sales leadership with hands-on product development responsibilities in Queensland, focusing on tomatoes, peppers, cucurbits, green bean and sweetcorn.

The successful candidate will drive revenue and gross profit while building relationships with growers, suppliers and end users, and will travel locally and internationally as required.

Formación

• Proven sales skills and experience in a similar environment.
• Technical experience in the vegetable seed industry and a sound knowledge of agronomy.
• Direct experience in running ongoing vegetable trial programs and reporting outcomes.
• Strong report writing skills with accuracy/attention to detail supported by exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• A natural ability and experience to listen and work positively with clients, suppliers, and growers.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Grow sales, volume and gross profit in the region to targets.
• Be present in the region looking for growth opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Spend the majority of your time client engaged developing sales and product development.
• Oversee ongoing trialling, development and launch of new vegetable varieties.
• Gather and report quality trial data to support new varieties.
• Work closely with the product development team and sales team nationally to forecast sales, supply and inventory needs.
