Prospex Recruiting partners with a leading technical organisation in Sydney to hire a Business Development Coordinator. This office-based role supports the BD team by coordinating estimates, proposals, tenders, and customer requirements from enquiry through to submission and handover.

You will work closely with sales, engineering, and operations, manage CRM and tender deadlines, and travel interstate for trade shows as required.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree in mechanical/mechatronic/electrical engineering.
• Driver's license is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Support Lead BDM to identify, develop, and progress new business opportunities.
• Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and pricing for opportunities.
• Develop professional proposals, quotations, tenders and capability submissions.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and delivery teams for tailored solutions.
• Ensure client systems are specified in tender documentation.
• Maintain CRM, sales pipelines and customer information.
• Assist with customer meetings, presentations and site visits; track tender deadlines.
• Coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors for pricing and documentation.
• Provide weekly dashboards and reporting of customer activity.
• Represent the business at trade shows and industry events; some interstate travel may be required.
