Job summary

Tasmania, in the Eastern Suburbs of NSW, is seeking a Junior Business Development Manager & Project Coordinator. The role blends client development with project coordination, offering mentorship from senior leadership and a fast-track path as the New Business department scales.

You will chase leads, nurture relationships, and work with tendering and senior management to align bids with company goals, while also supporting marketing and internal process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven client negotiation experience including pitching and initial contract talks.
• High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and document design with attention to templates and processes.
• Growth mindset with willingness to take on higher responsibility over time.
• Willingness to work outside standard hours to close major deals or hit targets.

Responsibilities

• Contract execution & lead nurturing: chase incoming leads and close deals to sign contracts.
• Tendering & executive collaboration: align bid strategies with business goals with senior management.
• Marketing & department optimization: oversee marketing initiatives and build templates/spreadsheets.
• Event coordination: manage small company events and the annual Christmas event.
