Job summary

ACAP University College is seeking a proactive Student Engagement Advisor for a 12-week fixed-term contract commencing 4 January 2027. The role focuses on responding to student enquiries via phone, email, and web chat, delivering timely guidance during peak enrolment.

You will join a supportive Student Engagement team, gaining valuable experience in student support, administration, and higher education while collaborating with academic and specialist staff to ensure a positive student journey.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in a customer-facing environment (retail, hospitality, education or similar).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide support over the phone, email, and online channels.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when completing administrative tasks.
• Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to student enquiries across various service channels.
• Proactively engage with students via inbound/outbound calls, web chat, emails, and other platforms.
• Complete administrative tasks and data entry accurately.
• Assist with re-enrolments and provide course sequence advice.
• Liaise with academic and specialist staff to ensure students are properly supported.
• Apply policies and procedures to provide accurate, timely advice.
