Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a Structures Foreman for a flagship $100M multi-deck car park project near Ipswich, QLD. You will lead the structural phase on site, controlling concrete works, post-tensioning, precast elements, and steel erection while keeping subcontractors on schedule.

You will report to the Site Manager and ensure strict safety and quality standards on a Tier 2 construction site with heavy emphasis on schedule and collaboration with project managers.

Qualifications

• Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial builder experience is essential.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale structures ($50M+).
• Deep knowledge of PT concrete, formwork and multi-deck builds.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily site activities for all structural sub-contractors.
• Oversee pour schedules, post-tensioning, formwork and reinforcement.
• Collaborate with Site Manager to track progress against milestones.
• Drive site safety compliance, zero-harm initiatives, and quality assurance.
• Resolve design clashes and structural interfaces on the deck in real time.

About the Opportunity

A large Tier 2 builder is delivering a flagship $100M multi-level car park facility near Ipswich. We are seeking an experienced Structures Foreman to step onto an active site and lead the structural phase of this high-profile build.
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will take full operational ownership of structural concrete, suspended slabs, post-tensioning, precast elements, and steel erection. You will be responsible for keeping sub-contractors on schedule while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily site activities for all structural sub-contractors and direct labour.
• Oversee detailed pour schedules, post-tensioning, formwork, and reinforcement placements.
• Work collaboratively with the Site Manager to track progress against critical path milestones.
• Drive site safety compliance, zero-harm initiatives, and quality assurance processes.
• Resolve design clashes and structural interface issues on the deck in real time.

Requirements & Experience

Background

• Tier 1 or Tier 2 Commercial Builder experience (essential)

Project History

• Proven track record delivering large-scale structures ($50M+ project values)

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of PT concrete structures, formwork systems, and multi-deck builds

Leadership

• Strong sub-contractor management and clear site communication skills

Qualifications

• Trade background (Carpentry/Structures preferred) or relevant Building qualification + White Card
