Job summary

Building Environs Recrutiment is seeking a Structures Foreman for high-rise apartment projects in South-East Queensland. The permanent, site-based role offers leadership of the structural works from start to completion.

You will join an experienced team on multi-level builds 8–15 levels high, driving delivery with a hands-on approach. This role requires genuine foreman-level experience on tall structures and permanent onsite work in Queensland.

As a Structures Foreman with this builder-developer, you will bring genuine high-rise experience to multi-level apartment projects (8-15 levels) and help drive delivery from structure through to completion.

Your Role

You will be trusted to lead the structural works while staying connected to the wider project outcome. In Queensland, the role extends beyond structure-only supervision, so you will be involved across the full lifecycle of the build.

You will work closely with subcontractors, engineers, foremen, and the broader site team to keep work progressing safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.

This role suits you if you enjoy being visible on site, making decisions, solving problems early, and taking responsibility for what happens next. You may already be a Structures Foreman or Senior Foreman looking for larger, more complex projects and greater ownership.

Success will mean more than completing a list of daily activities. You will help establish safe, well-organized work fronts, maintain momentum across structural packages, and ensure the wider site team has the information and access needed to deliver.

Your decisions will influence sequencing, subcontractor performance, site logistics, quality, and the transition between major project stages. You will be expected to identify issues early, communicate clearly, and take ownership of practical solutions.

The role will expose you to complex multi-level construction environments where planning and coordination matter every day.

Who you'll be working for

You will join an established Queensland apartment builder-developer delivering projects across South-East Queensland. The immediate opportunity is based onsite and offers the chance to work on buildings of approximately six to twelve storeys.

People are drawn to this role because it combines substantial project exposure with a strong level of autonomy. You will not be responsible for only one isolated construction phase. Your experience will contribute to the complete delivery of the project.

Your project team will typically include a project manager, site manager, structures foreman (you), finishing foremen, site engineer, and contract administrators. You will also coordinate structural trade partners across formwork, reinforcement, concrete, and scaffolding.

This is a demanding site-based role. High-rise and multi-level construction brings greater safety, logistics, coordination, and sequencing challenges than a typical low-rise project.

You will need to be comfortable working onsite every day and taking initiative without waiting for detailed instructions. The role requires genuine experience on buildings of approximately six to twelve storeys. Experience limited to low-rise projects of around three storeys will not be enough for this position.

The projects are located across Redcliffe, North Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast. If you are relocating to South-East Queensland, you will need to consider the practical and financial implications carefully, including housing, schools, partner support, and family arrangements.

• Genuine Structures Foreman or Senior Foreman experience on high-rise or multi-level construction projects
• Experience working on buildings and structures over 10 levels
• The confidence to coordinate structural subcontractors across formwork, reinforcement, concrete, and scaffolding.
• Experience in a relevant role, working for a head contractor, delivering multi-level structures
• The ability to work permanently onsite in South-East Queensland.
