Job summary

Zenith Search is partnering with a growing industrial construction contractor in Brisbane to appoint an experienced Site Foreman. You will oversee day-to-day coordination and supervision across industrial projects, reporting to the Site Manager and aligning with the project team.

You’ll drive short-term programmes, manage subcontractors and deliveries, read drawings, uphold WHS and quality standards, and support handover at project completion.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Foreman or similar in commercial/industrial construction in Australia.
• Experience on warehouses, logistics facilities, distribution centres or manufacturing projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong WHS and quality knowledge.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Current White Card and full Australian working rights.

Job description

We are partnering with a growing industrial construction contractor in Brisbane looking to appoint an experienced Site Foreman as part of an ambitious growth plan over the next three years. The business is led by an experienced Tier 1 leadership team, has strong financial backing and a secured pipeline of industrial projects across South East Queensland. With significant growth planned across the business, this is an opportunity to join at an early stage and develop alongside the company as it takes on larger and more complex projects.

About the Role

Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of site activities across industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities
• Driving short-term programmes and construction sequencing
• Maintaining high standards across safety, quality and programme
• Managing site logistics, materials and deliveries
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Conducting site inspections and resolving construction issues
• Assisting the Site Manager with overall project delivery
• Managing defects, completion and handover activities
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Foreman, Foreman, General Foreman or Site Supervisor
• Commercial or industrial construction experience within Australia
• Industrial project experience across warehouses, logistics facilities, distribution centres, manufacturing or large-format commercial projects highly regarded
• Strong understanding of structures, finishes and construction sequencing
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and drive programme
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong knowledge of WHS and quality requirementsExcellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Trade background and relevant trade qualifications highly regarded
• Current White Card
• Full Australian working rights

Pay range and compensation package

$130,000 + $160,000 + Super
