Job summary

JJ Care Services is seeking a Workforce Planning Coordinator to manage rostering, scheduling and HR admin in our Gymea Bay office. This role collaborates with another planner and supports a nine-person office team.

You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training and compliance while ensuring efficient rosters and proactive day-to-day workforce support. This is a full-time, office-based position.

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering, workforce scheduling and allocations in a care setting.
• Ability to manage high-volume changes and priorities with accuracy.
• Knowledge of SCHADS Award rostering and workplace obligations.

Responsibilities

• Build compliant rosters across home and community care, ID care and brokerage services.
• Monitor roster costing, overtime and KPIs with a strategic approach.
• Allocate workers per client needs, capacity and award rules; liaise with staffing agencies.
• Coordinate recruitment activities from sourcing to onboarding and induction.
• Maintain training records and coordinate shadow/buddy shifts and staff development.
• Develop relationships with workers, coach and set clear expectations.
• Maintain workforce records, timesheets and communications.
• Escalate HR matters through appropriate channels; participate in after-hours roster.
