Job summary

Focused on Care, a Queensland-based organisation, seeks a Workforce and Rostering Coordinator to lead our rostering team and forecast workforce needs using data. You will ensure rostering aligns with client plans and payroll requirements.

You will collaborate with HR, implement SCHADS award guidelines, and support NDIS, DVA, and NIISQ clients. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment with an agile approach.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Workforce Management, HR, Business, Community Services, Disability or other related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
• Ability to interpret and apply the SCHADS award.
• NDIS disability sector/healthcare experience.
• Strong attention to detail in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with a diverse range of people.
• Able to work independently and autonomously within a broader team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rostering team and rostering system.
• Roster to client needs and plan.
• Ensure shifts are entered correctly for payroll and billing.
• Ensure rosters align with award requirements.
• Complete weekly and monthly reporting to Senior Leadership.
• Use data and reporting to predict staffing needs.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure workforce compliance.
