Job summary

Clicks IT Recruitment is partnering with a large Queensland government organisation to recruit an experienced Program Advisor to support delivery of a portfolio of strategic programs in a complex environment. The role is hybrid, based in Carseldine (North Brisbane), with an initial 12-month contract and a cash rate of $75–$85 per hour plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting programs in complex environments
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies
• Experience with PRINCE2, Agile, MSP or similar
• Governance and PMO support experience
• Experience preparing project documentation artefacts
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience coordinating governance forums or steering committees

Responsibilities

• Provide delivery support across multiple programs and projects
• Assist Program and Project Managers with planning and coordination activities
• Prepare, review and quality assure key project and program artefacts
• Support development of business cases, initiation documentation and status reports
• Coordinate governance forums, steering committees and working groups
• Prepare agendas, meeting packs, presentations and decision records
• Capture and distribute meeting minutes and actions
• Maintain project and program schedules using scheduling tools
• Monitor resource allocation and support workforce planning activities
• Assist with timesheet management and effort allocation reporting
• Prepare and reconcile project and program financial reports
• Track budgets, forecasts, actuals, variances and billing information
• Maintain risk, issue and change registers and ensure timely updates
• Produce regular reporting for stakeholders and governance groups
• Identify and implement improvements to project and program management processes
