Job summary

Care Group Community Services in Sydney is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead HR operations, oversee recruitment, compliance, and employee relations, and partner with senior management in a fast-paced community services environment.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to align HR processes with Fair Work standards and NDIS requirements, while driving workforce planning and organisational improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in HR management or senior HR roles.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work, and WHS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HR policies in line with legislation and standards.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and documentation.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and performance management.
• Support workforce planning and HR process alignment with rostering.
• Collaborate with payroll/finance on entitlements and pay updates.
• Coordinate staff induction and compliance training.
• Maintain accurate records and certifications.
• Lead HR projects and reporting to senior management.
• Promote values of diversity, empathy, and integrity.
