Job summary

Challenge Community Services invites applications for an HR Business Partner based in Newcastle, NSW. The role is a senior partner to leadership, guiding HR strategy, culture change, workforce planning and industrial relations while Minimising risk and Aligning HR with business goals.

You will consult with departmental leaders, coach managers and drive complex projects across multiple sites within the region. Travel will be regular.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large multi-facet organisation.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
• Proven ability to manage employee relations and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy to develop and oversee effective business partnering.
• Offer expert advice on employee relations and industrial issues.
• Represent the organisation in interactions with unions and government bodies.
• Maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Manage disciplinary action with legislative compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver People-related projects and outcomes.
• Travel regularly across the designated region to support teams.
