The Australian Foundation for CDKL5 Research Limited in Geelong VIC is seeking a Human Resources and Support Services Manager to lead HR, support workforce, and ensure operational compliance. You will develop systems, manage staff, and close risks within a framework that prioritises client and family-centred service delivery.

Responsibilities include workforce planning, rostering governance, recruitment, onboarding, and policy development, with a focus on legal compliance, WHS and NDIS

Competenze

• Experience managing employees, recruitment, performance, conduct and workforce development.
• Senior management capability with independent decisions and delegated authority.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, SCHADS Award, award-based pay and rostering.
• Experience with disability, health or community services teams and NDIS obligations.
• Ability to develop and maintain practical policies, procedures, systems and compliance records.

• Directly manage support workers and administrative staff, including performance, conduct, capability, communication and compliance in a client and family centred service culture.
• Set service standards and expectations; supervise and conduct performance reviews; take corrective or formal action within delegation.
• Resolve concerns, grievances and conflict fairly, confidentially and consistently.
• Lead workforce planning and rostering governance, ensuring safe two-worker arrangements and appropriate skill mix.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, probation, performance review, workforce development and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate, secure employee records, contracts, screening, qualifications, training and credentials.
• Own the operational policy framework, including registers, version control, approvals and staff acknowledgement.
• Develop and update HR, workforce and operational policies in response to legislation, incidents and audits.
• Maintain continuous audit readiness through evidence, owners and assurance checks.
• Advise Director(s) on workforce strategy, risk, culture and support-service systems.
