Job summary

Crystalbrook Sam in Adelaide is seeking a confident, commercially minded Conference and Events Manager to join our pre-opening team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role focuses on handling event enquiries and delivering memorable experiences through careful planning and flawless execution.

You will build relationships with local businesses and clients, coordinate with Sales, Marketing and hotel leadership, and upsell F&B, AV and event services to maximise revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience in conference and events sales, event coordination, hotel sales or related role.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Understanding of the Adelaide corporate, conference and events market.
• Excellent event planning, coordination and execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage conference, meeting and event enquiries from initial contact to post-event follow-up.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, corporate clients, planners, agencies and partners.
• Develop partnerships to generate repeat event business and ongoing opportunities.
• Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and event agreements reflecting client requirements.
• Coordinate event details with F&B, operations and other hotel departments to ensure seamless delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, client meetings and hotel showcases with a customer-focused approach.
