Job summary

Crystalbrook Sam in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead our opening 5-star hotel and dining concept, including a signature rooftop restaurant on Level 12, a lobby bar and café. Play a pivotal role in launching memorable guest experiences from day one.

You will build and lead a high-performing Food & Beverage team, oversee multiple departments, ensure safety and compliance, and partner with the Hotel Leadership Team to shape future success across dining, service and guest

Qualifications

• Experience in cultivating a successful Food and Beverage Team from recruitment, coaching and on the job mentoring.
• Proven ability to oversee multiple food and beverage departments.
• Maturity and awareness to proactively pre-empt guest and operational issues via proactive leadership planning.
• Solid broad beverage scope, including wine knowledge and food pairing.
• Manage smooth handovers and lead with confidence in a fast-paced service environment.
• Oversee a diverse and large team and foster Crystalbrook Collections culture of engagement and excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to work across a 24/7 operational roster.
• Have full working rights in Australia and current Approved Managers License & RSA.

Crystalbrook Sam is coming to Adelaide, and we are looking for an experienced Venue Manager to help bring our exciting new 5-star hotel and dining experience to life. This is an opportunity to join the opening team and help create memorable guest dining experiences from the very beginning.

As part of the team, you will contribute to the successful launch of our signature rooftop restaurant on Level 12, a lobby bar and café, partnering with all other guest experience areas of our hotel.

Role Purpose

Focused on connection, communication and efficient operations, you will help maintain a safe, compliant workplace and ensure Collaborators have the support required to provide intuitive and exceptional service.

As a key member of the crystalbrook SAM's leadership team, you’ll also work closely with the broader Hotel Leadership Team to shape the future success of our restaurant, cafe and in-house dining.

• Manage smooth handovers and have the ability to resolve guest and operational issues in the moment, where you will lead with confidence and care in a fast-paced service environment
• Proven ability to pro-actively oversee a diverse and large team, fostering the Crystalbrook Collections culture of engagement and excellence
• Demonstrated ability to work across a 24/7 operational roster
• Have full working rights in Australia (no working restrictions)
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current Approved Managers License & RSA
