Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an experienced corporate insurance professional to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. You will advise on Financial Lines products, describe insurable risk, design bespoke solutions, and negotiate terms in the global market.

You will build relationships with underwriting partners, manage budgets and debtors, and mentor junior team members while promoting Gallagher’s brand within the local business community.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to the insurance industry (Financial Lines)
• Strong account management experience within corporate broking
• Pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery
• Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
• Driven and professional disposition with a willingness to contribute to a team environment

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, advising on a range of Financial Lines products
• Maintaining and developing business relationships with new and existing clients
• Opportunity to handle the full suite of financial lines products, to a diverse client base from ASX listed to financial institutions clientele
• Describing insurable risk, designing bespoke insurance solutions and negotiating the best deal in the global insurance market
• Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with our underwriting partners
• Managing and maintenance of budget, business plan and debtors
• Active mentoring of team members
• Building a long-term pipeline to support New Business growth
• Promoting the Gallagher brand within the local business community
