Job summary

Gallagher in Melbourne seeks an experienced Financial Lines Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, advising on a range of Financial Lines products and building strong client relationships. You will work with underwriting partners, develop a long-term pipeline, mentor team members, and contribute to a culture of integrity and collaboration.

A Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification and 5+ years of experience are preferred; the role offers flexible benefits and career

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to the insurance industry (particularly Financial Lines).
• Strong account management experience gained within corporate broking.
• Pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, advising on a range of Financial Lines products.
• Maintaining and developing business relationships with new and existing clients.
• Opportunity to handle the full suite of financial lines products, to a diverse client base from ASX listed to financial institutions clientele.
• Describing insurable risk, designing bespoke insurance solutions and negotiating the best deal in the global insurance market.
• Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with our underwriting partners.
• Managing and maintenance of budget, business plan and debtors.
• Active mentoring of team members.
• Building a long-term pipeline to support New Business growth.
• Promoting the Gallagher brand within the local business community.

About the role

About you
