Bailey Nelson in Sydney is seeking a Store Manager in Training for its Flagship Pitt St store. This leadership launchpad offers a clear path to running your own store within 6–12 months, with comprehensive training across clinical dispensing and retail leadership.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive customer experiences from clinic to frame styling, and own day-to-day store operations. This role includes strong career growth as new stores open across AU & NZ in 2026.

As a Bailey Nelson Store Manager in Training, you won’t just support the store, you’ll help run it. You’ll play a key role in delivering seamless, joy-filled customer experiences, from clinic to frame styling to final dispense. This is more than a job - it’s an intensive, fully supported leadership launchpad designed to transition you directly into running your own store.

Two ways to win in this role:

• Strong Retail Store Manager with zero optics experience?You bring the proven leadership, team coaching, and commercial chops, and our in-depth 6‑month training will teach you the clinical and dispensing side from scratch.
• Optics background ready for your own management role? You know the clinical world, and we’ll fast‑track your retail management, P&L ownership, and flagship leadership skills so you can run your own store in 6–12 months.

You’ll:

• Support with store operations (including running the store 2 days a week)
• Support the Store Manager & Optometrist to drive performance
• Own the customer journey and make every interaction exceptional

What we’re looking for

• Retail, Hospitality, or Optical Leadership Experience:Proven experience at a supervisor or management level within a fast‑paced retail, hospitality, or customer‑centric environment
  You know how to lead from the front, manage shifts, and keep a team motivated
• Values-Driven & Grounded:Someone who aligns perfectly with our culture and values - down to earth, tight knit and constantly striving to improve
• Commercial Acumen & Sales Drive:Proven experience at a supervisor or store management level, with a track record of smashing sales budgets and driving retail KPIs (Multipairs, ATV, Conversion)
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills:A passion for delivering world‑class optical experiences, mastering the customer journey, and prioritising the customer above all else
  
• Natural Leadership & Accountability:Experience running daily store operations, managing rosters, and taking full ownership of store performance. You lead by example and love coaching and upskilling team members
  
• An Aspiring Store Manager:A driven retail leader with the ambition and resilience to upskill and step into a BN Store Manager role within 6–12 months
• Available to work full time38 hours, Sunday–Thursday roster
