Universal Store is seeking a passionate, creative, and driven Store Manager to lead from the front, build a strong store culture, and create standout customer experiences. If you’re passionate about youth fashion and developing high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced retail environment, we’d love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will work a Tuesday–Saturday roster, including late‑night trade. No agency enquiries. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Qualifications

• Strong retail background with hands‑on experience across shop floor and stockroom.
• Proven experience as a Store Manager, leading medium to large teams.
• A warm, energetic communicator who leads with positivity and purpose.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
• High attention to detail with a strong understanding of retail profitability.
• Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Confident in delivering feedback and communicating effectively at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Lead day‑to‑day store operations with a strong and visible floor presence.
• Inspire, coach, and develop a large, diverse team to build future leaders.
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with Universal Store service standards.
• Drive sales performance and store profitability through strong cost and productivity management.
• Manage rostering, budgets, and scheduling to achieve business and payroll targets.
• Maintain visual merchandising, presentation standards, and overall store efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and support team members through clear, honest, and constructive feedback.
• Uphold and role‑model Universal Store’s values, culture, and brand expectations.
