Universal Store is seeking a passionate, creative Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations with a strong floor presence and a focus on delivering standout customer experiences. You will build a high‑performing team, drive sales, and manage rostering, budgets and visual merchandising to maintain our brand standards.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, lead from the front, and foster a positive store culture while ensuring profitability and strong payroll

• Proven store leadership experience across shop floor and stockroom.
• Experience as a Store Manager leading medium to large teams.

The successful candidate willworka Tuesday–Saturday roster, including late‑night trade and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day store operations with a strong and visible floor presence

• Inspire, coach, and develop a large, diverse team to build future leaders

• Deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with Universal Store service standards

• Drive sales performance and store profitability through strong cost and productivity management

• Manage rostering, budgets, and scheduling to achieve business and payroll targets

• Maintain visual merchandising, presentation standards, and overall store efficiency

• Recruit, train, and support team members through clear, honest, and constructive feedback

• Uphold and role‑model Universal Store’s values, culture, and brand expectations
