Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Senior Supervisor in Australia to lead on the shop floor, partner with the leadership team and ensure a safe, well-stocked store that delivers an outstanding customer experience.

You’ll work a rotating roster including mornings, days and evenings across the week, coach teammates, manage day-to-day operations, and drive safety and efficiency while developing your leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems practically.
• Availability to work across a rotating roster, including opening and closing shifts.
• Focus on safety and creating a positive environment for team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front, creating a welcoming, safe and well-presented store environment.
• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing, and stepping into site leadership when required.
• Coach and guide team members on the shop floor, helping them deliver knowledgeable and helpful service.
• Keep the store running smoothly through effective workforce planning, stock flow and replenishment.
• Drive a strong safety culture by promoting safe practices and supporting team wellbeing.
• Resolve customer queries in a practical, helpful way that builds trust and loyalty.
• Look for better ways of working, improving efficiency and supporting the rollout of new tools or processes.
• Play a key role in onboarding and developing team members, supporting their growth and confidence on the job.
