Bunnings in Australia is hiring a Senior Supervisor to lead front-line store operations, shape the customer experience and support our leadership team daily. You’ll drive a safe, well‑stocked and welcoming store environment, set the tone for service delivery and develop the next generation of team leaders to keep customers coming back.

This hands‑on role requires strong communication, practical decision making and a positive, can‑do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or customer-facing leadership or supervisory role.
• Confidence supporting store operations, including safety, stock management and customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a practical way.
• A focus on safety and creating a positive environment for team members and customers.
• Availability to work across a rotating roster, including opening and closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front, creating a welcoming, safe and well‑presented store environment that sets the tone for a great customer experience
• Support day‑to‑day store operations, including opening and closing, and stepping into site leadership when required
• Coach and guide team members on the shop floor, helping them deliver knowledgeable and helpful service
• Keep the store running smoothly through effective workforce planning, stock flow and replenishment
• Drive a strong safety culture by promoting safe practices and supporting team wellbeing
• Resolve customer queries in a practical, helpful way that builds trust and loyalty
• Look for better ways of working, improving efficiency and supporting the rollout of new tools or processes
• Play a key role in onboarding and developing team members, supporting their growth and confidence on the job
