Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead store operations and customer experience. This full-time role requires hands-on leadership across opening, closing and site leadership as needed, with a focus on safety, stock management and team development.

You will coach staff, ensure a safe, welcoming store environment, manage workforce planning and drive continuous improvement, while delivering outstanding customer service and greeting everyday opportunities to grow your leadership

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or customer-facing leadership or supervisory role.
• Confidence supporting store operations, including safety, stock management and customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a practical way.
• Availability to work across a rotating roster, including opening and closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front, creating a welcoming, safe and well-presented store environment that sets the tone for a great customer experience
• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing, and stepping into site leadership when required
• Coach and guide team members on the shop floor, helping them deliver knowledgeable and helpful service
• Keep the store running smoothly through effective workforce planning, stock flow and replenishment
• Drive a strong safety culture by promoting safe practices and supporting team wellbeing
• Resolve customer queries in a practical, helpful way that builds trust and loyalty
• Look for better ways of working, improving efficiency and supporting the rollout of new tools or processes
• Play a key role in onboarding and developing team members, supporting their growth and confidence on the job
