Job summary

Vanderlande in Sydney, Australia seeks a Sales Manager / Solutions Consultant to drive warehouse automation opportunities and own the end-to-end sales cycle. You will build a robust pipeline, engage with customers and consultants, and present Vanderlande’s capabilities to address client needs.

You will lead win strategies, manage bids and proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions align with customer requirements and contracts are closed effectively.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Create and nurture a strong industry network with customers, potential customers, and consultants; identify and pursue new opportunities in warehouse automation; develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement strategies to identify and close new deals; align BD plan with growth objectives; stay informed about market trends and competitor activity.
• Client Relationship Management: Be the external face of the company with full customer ownership; build relationships with key decision-makers; understand clients' operational challenges and goals to offer automation solutions.
• Proposal Development: Define win strategies; manage all stages of the bid process; prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations; tailor solutions to client requirements.
• Negotiation and Contract Closure: Lead negotiations to close deals; collaborate with legal and finance to finalise contracts and ensure compliance.
