We’re seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our Mining Department at Broken Hill. This role is critical in leading underground crews, ensuring safe production, and supporting day‑to‑day operational performance.
As this is a statutory position, a current NSW Practising Certificate (Underground Supervisor) is mandatory for you to be considered.
Lead and coordinate underground mining crews to meet safety and production targets
Ensure compliance with site procedures, statutory requirements, and industry best practice
Monitor daily operational performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members
Maintain accurate shift reports and contribute to planning activities
Strong leadership capability with a focus on safety and team performance
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
