Hitachi Energy Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a commercially astute and technically capable Service Sales and Tendering Specialist to develop high-quality, competitive and technically sound service proposals.

You will lead end-to-end bid responses, coordinate across sales, engineering, operations and legal, and craft commercially attractive service solutions that support profitable growth while delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in tendering, proposals and commercial management.
• Technical understanding of service solutions, ideally in electrical/energy sectors.
• Strong costing, pricing, margin analysis and financial modelling skills.
• Knowledge of contractual terms, commercial risk and contract management.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and tight submission timelines.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical, structured problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication, able to present complex information.
• Collaborative approach across sales, engineering, operations and legal.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end preparation of responses to customer enquiries, RFQ and tenders.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, operational and contractual inputs for compliant proposals.
• Develop optimized service solutions aligned with customer needs and capabilities.
• Translate customer needs into defined scopes, deliverables and execution plans.
• Prepare cost estimates, pricing models and commercial offers with profitability focus.
• Perform margin analysis and identify opportunities to improve cost competitiveness.
• Review terms and conditions with legal and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate technical, commercial and contractual risks in tendering.
• Support sales and BU teams to include service offerings in broader proposals.
• Contribute to bid reviews, win/loss analysis and process improvements of tendering tools.
