Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a commercially astute Service Sales and Tendering Specialist to develop competitive, technically sound service proposals. You will lead bid preparation, coordinating across sales, engineering, operations and legal to deliver profitable service solutions aligned with customer needs.

You will translate requirements into clear scopes, deliverables and execution strategies, preparing detailed cost estimates and commercial offers while maintaining targeted profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience with tendering, proposals, or commercial management in service settings.
• Technical understanding of service solutions, preferably in energy or industrial sectors.
• Strong costing, pricing and margin analysis capabilities.
• Familiarity with contractual terms, risk and contract management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end responses to customer enquiries, RFQs and tenders.
• Coordinate inputs from sales, engineering, operations and legal to ensure compliant proposals.
• Develop commercially attractive service solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Translate needs into defined scopes, deliverables and execution strategies.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and commercial offers ensuring profitability.
• Manage multiple bids within deadlines and drive bid reviews and improvements.
