Job summary

TeamMoto Motorcycles Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a busy workshop, drive performance, and deliver a great customer experience.

You will manage a team of Service Advisors, Technicians and Apprentices, and be accountable for budgeting and department performance in partnership with the Dealer Principal. The role emphasises coaching, process discipline and customer focus.

• Solid understanding of budgets, KPIs, labour efficiency and gross profit.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop.
• Keep the workshop loaded to capacity and hit department KPIs.
• Work with the Dealer Principal on budgets, reporting and department performance.
• Lead, roster, coach and develop Service Advisors, Technicians and Apprentices.
• Work with the Parts Manager so parts are ready and jobs are delivered on time.
• Manage warranty claims and handle customer concerns and escalations.
• Keep the workshop safe, tidy and compliant with WHS requirements.
• Keep customer satisfaction high.

Job description

Lead a busy motorcycle workshop with Australia's largest motorcycle retailer.

We're looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead the workshop at our Sunshine Coast TeamMoto. You'll drive performance, keep customers happy and build a strong team.

You'll report to the Dealer Principal / Group Service Manager. You'll lead a team of Service Advisors, Technicians and Apprentices, and be accountable for the department's budgeted gross and net profit while delivering a great customer experience.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience as a Service Manager, Workshop Manager or senior Service Advisor stepping up
• Strong leadership skills and a track record of developing a team
• Good commercial sense: budgets, KPIs, labour efficiency and gross profit
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Experience with a dealer management system (DMS)
• Current driver's licence

• A passion for motorcycles
• A trade background (e.g. Certificate III in Motorcycle or Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology)
• Automotive dealership experience. We welcome car service managers who want to make the move to motorcycles.
