Job summary

QBE is seeking a Senior Technical Claims Specialist to lead technical guidance across large and complex commercial property claims. You will support the Service Manager and the Commercial Large and Complex team, coaching others and driving capability through expert guidance.

You will handle end-to-end portfolios, mentor Senior Claims Officers, collaborate with brokers, loss adjusters and suppliers, and help ensure efficient claim assessment and repair outcomes while aligning with jurisdictional

Qualifications

• Extensive experience handling large and complex commercial property claims.
• Experience coaching or leading a claims team.
• Proficient in managing ISR (Industrial Special Risks) claims.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across large and complex commercial property claims.
• Mentor Senior Claims Officers to strengthen technical capability.
• Manage end-to-end portfolio of complex commercial property claims.
• Collaborate with customers, brokers, loss adjusters, builders and suppliers.
• Ensure efficient claim assessment and repair outcomes.
• Contribute to overall claims strategy and team objectives.
