Job summary

QBE Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Technical Claims Specialist to provide expert guidance across large and complex commercial property claims. You will back the Service Manager and the Commercial Large and Complex team, strengthening capability through coaching and technical guidance, while managing a portfolio of high-value claims.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing large and complex commercial property claims valued at $1 million or more.
• Experience managing ISR claims.
• Previous experience coaching or leading a team.
• Strong technical capability within commercial property claims.
• A focus on improving end-to-end claims management performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across large and complex commercial property claims.
• Support and mentor Senior Claims Officers to strengthen technical capability.
• Manage an end-to-end portfolio of complex commercial property claims.
• Partner with customers, brokers, loss adjusters, builders and suppliers throughout the claims process.
• Support effective and efficient claim assessment and repair outcomes.
• Coach and develop claims team members to build capability.
• Contribute to the claims strategy and achievement of team objectives.
