Job summary

REA Group is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Data Mesh Enablement to drive data-as-a-product initiatives and shape a federated data operating model. You will lead discovery with cross-functional teams and maintain a long-term roadmap aligned to REA’s data strategy.

You will work closely with Head of Data, Engineering Manager and delivery squads to translate strategic priorities into practical data products and measurable outcomes in a hybrid Melbourne or Sydney setting.

Qualifications

• Five years in Product Management or Product Development.
• Experience owning complex products, platforms or strategic initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data-as-a-product, ownership, lifecycle and measurable value.

Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery and strategic initiatives for data-as-a-product thinking.
• Be the key product voice within the Data Mesh Enablement squad.
• Identify opportunities, design discovery approaches and translate priorities into initiatives.
• Define and roll out consistent discovery approaches, templates and playbooks.
• Develop and maintain a long-term, outcome-driven roadmap aligned to data strategy and OKRs.
• Collaborate with Data Management, Data Business Partners and delivery teams to roll out new practices.
