Job summary

REA Group is seeking a Senior Product Manager (Data Mesh Enablement) to own discovery and strategy for data-as-a-product within the federated data operating model. You will partner with Head of Data, Engineering Manager and squads to shape the long-term road map and translate business needs into practical initiatives.

You will lead discovery, prioritisation and work with data domains, product owners and delivery teams to ensure value realisation and adoption across REA.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex products or portfolios.
• Strong understanding of data-as-a-product thinking and data governance.
• Ability to lead discovery, frame problems and translate user needs into opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and strategic initiatives for data-as-a-product thinking across the federation.
• Define and maintain a long-term, outcome-driven data mesh road map aligned to strategy.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, data management and analytics teams to shape pragmatic outcomes.
• Develop and roll out consistent data product discovery methods, playbooks and templates.
• Prioritise opportunities based on business value, delivery capacity and strategic fit.
