Job summary

Parfrey Place Medical Centre in Rochedale South (Brisbane) is seeking an Experienced Practice Manager OR Senior Medical Receptionist with at least 3 years of general practice experience. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, Medicare billing accuracy and staff coordination to ensure excellent patient service.

The successful candidate will work with doctors, nurses and reception, maintain efficient appointment management, recalls and compliance, and support practice development.

Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Practice Manager or Senior Medical Receptionist (min 3 years) in a general practice.
• Strong Medicare billing, bulk-billing procedures, claims and submissions.
• Proficient with Best Practice software; familiarity with Cubiko is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and patient flow in a busy general practice.
• Coordinate staff rosters, leave, recruitment and training for reception team.
• Oversee Medicare bulk-billing processes, claims, reconciliations and financial reporting.
