Neighbourhood Medical in Toowong—Brisbane is seeking a Senior Medical Receptionist / Assistant Practice Manager to lead our reception and admin team. You will shape the patient experience, support our doctors, and participate in leadership with practice management and nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical reception experience, including GP practice exposure.
• Experience leading or supervising a reception/admin team or readiness to step into leadership.
• Familiarity with Best Practice software recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead the reception and admin team on a day-to-day basis to keep the front desk running smoothly.
• Oversee appointments, patient flow, billing and Medicare claiming; support doctors and staff.
• Manage day-to-day banking, Medicare enquiries, debt collection and billing corrections.
• Support recruitment and training plans for new receptionists; participate in leadership meetings.
