Job summary

SafeWork NSW is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to lead the design and development of high‑quality learning solutions that build capability across the organisation. This role focuses on translating regulatory content into practical, engaging learning experiences for inspectors and staff.

You will apply adult learning principles, develop blended and digital learning, and continuously improve resources using feedback and data. Hybrid work arrangements across NSW are available.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of accredited and non‑accredited learning.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to translate content into engaging learning.
• Create facilitator and learner resources, e‑learning, assessments and activities.
• Improve resources using feedback and data for continuous improvement.
• Provide expert advice on instructional design and learning solutions.
• Ensure accessibility and quality across learning materials.
